Mauritius 100km Cycle Tour
A massive thank you to all the incredible cyclists who joined us for the 30th edition of this extraordinary race, held amidst the stunning backdrop of Mauritius.
This thrilling race guides you through awe-inspiring landscapes along the enchanting East coast of the island, culminating in an exhilarating sprint to the finish line on the vibrant West coast.
In 2024, participants had the option to tackle the “other way around” race, which was enjoyed by many.
And guess what? For 2025, we’re going back to the original direction due to popular demand!

Race History
The race started as a fund raising in 1993 to raise funds for Mauritian charities and NGO’s. Over the years the race have seen a large number of Mauritians and expats of all generation taking part .The race also known as ‘’Anou Pedaler’’ is the biggest cycle event in Mauritius and have seen many champions both local and international winning it . The race usually attracts over 800 cycling enthusiasts every year with the biggest turnout of 1200 being recorded in 2008 . The race was only done over a distance of 100 km from Blue Bay to Mon Choisy beach since the beginning until 2012 when a 50 km distance was introduced.
Past Winners
There have been many great winners like Aaron Brown and Ashlei Moolman Pasio but the one that have left his mark on the race is the Frenchman Sylvain Georges who in 2016 led from start to finish and although he did the last 70 kilometres all on his own, he won in a record time of 2hrs 10mins 49 sec.
On the ladies side, the South African, Kirsten Schut recorded a time of 2 hrs18 mins 10 seconds in 2018.
The best Mauritian on time to win it is Johan Pirogue who in 2015 did a time of 2hrs13mins 50sec .

The goal of SOS Children’s Villages is to help children needing alternative care for an independent future. SOS Children’s Villages is supporting thousands of needy children, young people and families in 136 countries and territories.

Quartier de Lumière is a Mauritian association created in 2006 to help the most deprived people with housing, education of their children and general well-being with the objective that they take charge and become fully autonomous.

The Association Pour les Handicapés De Malherbes was established in 2006. The school provides special education to children between the age of 5 to 25 with intellectual impairments, Cerebral Palsy and related conditions.<br>

SAFIRE was created in May 2006 with the objective of continuing the program undertaken by the Ministry of Social Security jointly with UNICEF to provide assistance to children in street situations with a view to rehabilitate and reintegrate them into society.
